SOLO Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Course 2026

WVRD has contracted with SOLO Schools for their comprehensive 2-day WFA certification. SOLO is considered the gold standard in backcountry emergency care training and offers its classes worldwide. Throughout this 2-day class you will learn how to handle injuries and even recognize the signs of pending emergencies along with developing the skills necessary to quickly respond with the proper treatment. Your confidence will grow when you gain the knowledge and expertise to handle life’s unexpected surprises. At the end of day two, our instructor will provide a written test and upon passing you will receive your certification card.
Bring a lunch, water bottle and be prepared for the weather as much of the course will be held outside. More detailed equipment list will be sent once registration is confirmed.
This course also qualifies as a recertification course for WFR's.
Cost: $250 ($225 for WVRD Members)
