Sweet Creations: Plant-Based Dessert Workshop
Join Wendy, owner of Roots & Roses, (https://www.rootsandrosesnh.com) for a hands-on, plant-based dessert workshop at Waterville Valley Recreation Department on October 17, 2025, beginning at 5:30pm! This 2.5-hour class, limited to 12 participants, will guide you through creating a variety of delicious desserts from start to finish. You’ll receive step-by-step visual instruction, recipes, tips for perfecting each treat, and the opportunity to make your own desserts to take home. All ingredients are included.
During the class, we’ll make:
Date Bark – a naturally sweet, chocolatey treat
Breakfast Cookies – wholesome and satisfying
Fig Newtons – a classic reimagined with plant-based ingredients
Specialty Cookie or Bar– a seasonal surprise to delight your taste buds
Because we’ll be together through dinnertime, we encourage you to bring a light snack to enjoy during the class. Roots & Roses will also bring something to share, so we can all keep our energy up while baking together.
Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just curious, this workshop offers a fun, relaxed, hands-on experience with plenty of guidance and inspiration. Walk away with new skills, tasty creations, and a renewed appreciation for plant-based desserts!
All recipes are 100% plant-based and include gluten-free options
